"Snow White stories were always my favorite, too," Charming says, the stupid smile on his face completely clear about how his emotions lie when it comes to supposed wives. "And it's been a lot longer than a few weeks," he promises. "I haven't been in a coma for ... well, I think it's probably been close to a year, now? At least, that." Time gets hard to keep track of when you're under the thrall of a sleeping spell or jumping between worlds and he tries to keep it straight in his mind, but it's rough, sometimes.

Charming can't help a bemused expression when the Huntsman says his own is his favorite story. "He was pretty heroic, saving the Prince and all," he says. "The Prince probably was more grateful to him than anyone in his life, getting him back to Snow the way he did." It's the best way he has of saying thank you without outright telling him.
